IT Consultant – Backend Developer (m/f/d)

uRemoTech is a 100% remote IT consulting company based near Kiel in Schleswig-Holstein. We are burning to help clients across Germany move forward in DevOps, Cloud and Software Development. In the past years we have worked with well-known companies like Bertelsmann, Daimler or Otto.

Starting immediately, we are looking for an experienced IT consultant with a focus on backend development in full-time, for a remote position.
As part of our team, you will contribute to the design and implementation of different software architectures for our customers. In doing so, you will bring your individual language skills to the table.

You have fun doing:

  • Design and implementation of backends.
  • Agile software development.
  • Software architecture and development.
  • Microservice architectures.
  • Docker or cloud, if applicable.
  • Collaborate with other consultants and developers to find the best solutions for our clients.
  • Familiarizing yourself with new topics to constantly expand your knowledge.

Ideally, you bring with you:

  • Several years of work experience as a backend developer, architect or in a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of development tools and practices such as architecture, programming, testing, APIs, security, etc.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a widely used programming language (e.g. Java, C#, NodeJS, Python, Golang, etc.).
  • Ideally experience with Docker and cloud.
  • Good communication skills and customer focus.
  • Willingness to work in home office or At the location of your choice.
  • Very good German and good English skills.
